We aim to empower your employees to make confident financial decisions
Money is a stressful issue for many; if you help to educate your employees to deal with their money matters then this is likely to result in a less stressed and more productive workforce.
Did you know your employees can get financial education while they are working at home?
We understand that a lot of companies adopted a ‘working from home’ approach for employees during the recent pandemic. Many employers are still adopting this approach or a hybrid mix of office and home. We are able to offer complimentary financial education seminars through Zoom or Teams for employees who are working at home at a time that is convenient to them. Contact us on 0117 973 0500 to book.
What is workplace financial education?
Workplace financial education is providing your employees time to talk with a trusted financial adviser to give them a greater understanding of their finances and allowing them to make informed decisions. This demonstrates that you care about the financial wellbeing of your employees and can be considered as an employee benefit in its own right.
At Four Wealth Management, we offer complimentary Workplace Financial Education seminars – these can be face to face or online.
Why offer financial education to your employees?
Many employers want to ensure that their employees understand their finances, employee benefits and how to make the most of them.
Providing a retirement package to employees is now a requirement for most employers due to auto-enrolment. However, most employees are uncertain about how to prepare for retirement. They have to choose how much to contribute into their own pension pot, make their own investment choices, decide when to retire and navigate tax rules and allowances.
Providing a quality Financial Education Workshop, will overcome this uncertainty and empower your employees to maximise the potential of their pension pots.
How our workplace financial education scheme works
We want to create greater financial certainty for your employees. We achieve this by running a programme of complimentary Workshops at your workplace. These can be for all of your employees or for a group that you select. The workshops typically last for about an hour.
If you have a larger company, we can run a series of interactive seminars to target different segments of the workforce to increase engagement. Seminars can be focused around life-stages and/or specific topics such as retirement planning.
A scheme tailored to your company
The needs of every organisation are different and we will create a financial education programme tailored to your company and employees.
We aim to provide education to support employees throughout their lives and inspire them to take control and make decisions to enhance their financial well-being by simplifying complex financial matters.
What are the benefits to employers offering a Workplace Education programme?
Employers who offer Workplace Financial Education typically have a more motivated, productive and less-stressed workforce. Allowing your employees to understand and make the most of their employee benefits will increase retention rates and productivity. Offering Workplace Financial Education will empower your employees to take control of their finances which will hopefully reduce stress and therefore reduce the amount of days employees take off for stress-related issues.
The value of a pension with St. James’s Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than invested.
The levels and bases of taxation and reliefs from taxation can change at any time. The value of any tax relief depends on individual circumstances.
